Paid more on cyber Monday

Bought the crossbody Michael kors purse on cyber Monday 11/26/18 for $148.80 thinking I was getting a good deal, because you always hear that is the day to get the deals. Two days later the purse is $111.60 I will Never buy on cyber Monday for Michael kors. I feel I should get a refund for the significant difference I’m pissed!! I contacted customer service, but I never got a reply.

Call Macy’s customer service. I had two items from cyber Monday that went on sale and I called yesterday to inform them.

They deducted the difference on both. These were not MK items but I will add that my MK purse handles have cracks in the leather where the handles are hooked onto the purse.

All four anchored areas. The purse is two years old and not used daily.

Michael Kors customer service is the worst I have experienced. I have worn this purse only a handful of times and part of the charm unglued and now it is hideous.

The purse is in perfect condition otherwise but since it is “out of warranty”, they referred me to their authorised leather repair service EVEN THOUGH MY LEATHER IS IN PERFECT SHAPE!

The customer service takes forever to reply and shows no consideration to helping customers. I likely at least 100 MK items in clothes, purses, shoes and watches and the way I was treated makes me sick and will certainly not purchase anything else until they learn to respect customers, especially regular one!

Ok so I jumped on the Michael Kors bandwagon when they were having one of the big "sales" that I later found out are basically year round. I purchased 3 purses first.

One I returned without opening because I purchased it in a different color, the other I picked up in a local store so I had the opportunity to view it before I purchased it, and the other came damaged. Although it appeared new there were two large scratches or blemishes on the front so I returned it and repurchased it in the store ( btw I still have not received the refund on this item I returned over two weeks ago).

Then I purchased two more items on sale. A Bristol medium satchel and a Fulton logo wallet. Both were on sale.

Both arrived used without the tags attached. The purse was damaged and had scratches on the clasp and was clearly used for more than a day or two. The wallet came and I was furious to see the same thing....stained, scratched, with warped leather. Their return policy states that all original tags must still be attached but they have no problem selling this garbage do they?

Now I have to wait weeks for a refund on two different items that never should have been sent out to begin with!

Save yourself the aggravation and stay away from all online orders. I only took pics of the wallet since I returned the purse first.

A 5 cent pin

I don’t have much money but wanted a mk watch I saved every dime to get it and the pin came out of the band can’t get the 5 cent pin without sending my watch out to get fixed and I’m in Canada so maybe 2 months and lots of money. Are you kidding me I could fix it myself with a new pin. Boo mk never again

This Vanilla Grayson bag is only about 6 months old tops. The black "piping" trim on both handles has seperated from the leather.

The stiching and leather also fraying. I had a Hamilton and the gold paint on the lock fob chipped off very soon as well. Just not as durable quality anymore. Sad because was a big fan but paying near $300 for this to happen so fast is absurd to me.

I should have had handles professionally repaired but being impatient, I thought it would be a simple DIY repair ...well looks awful. Very sad.

Is this common? I saw another post same issue!

My Michael Kors purses straps frayed and they would not replace them. This bag has been very lightly used.

I will never buy a Michael Kors purse again. The do not use straps that wear well. The straps could be easily replaced because they attach like a belt buckle, but Michael Kors will not replace them and instead gave me the name of a repair shop. I offered to buy them, but Michael Kors will not allow the shop to sell them unless I mail the bag and then the straps will cost $75 plus shipping and handling.

Michael Kors can trick me once, but they will not trick me twice. I will close my eyes everytime I pass a Michael Kors shop!

We will not be purchasing any Michael Kors products anymore. We have had three purses and all have been inferior and tore up before the first year.

These last two, one lost the black trim on the edge of the handles within a couple of months. My daughter's purse is a month old and a screw fell out of the handle and the handle broke. It is ridiculous to pay this kind of money for inferior products and I will not do it again.

As a matter of fact, I will tell anyone that will listen not to buy their products. I hope their company goes under soon, because that is what should happen to a company that cares so little about making a decent product and cares even less about their customers.

I have had the same problem with my Michael Kors bag. The leather handles frayed within one year of owning the bag and then the replacement handles have frayed.

Since the bag is now out of warranty they don't care that the replacement handles were just as substandard as the originals. I don't expect this from a 350.00 bag.

Good to know about the bad quality! I wont buy MK ever because of constant blatant rude remarks at me (to leave, to never come bk..) by a mgr (MIchael) who did not want to do a return-but I had the item & recpt good for 30 days) Prior store mgr & clerk attitudes are unhelpful, arrogant, unknowledgeable, & will say anything OR wont tell you even if you ask) This brand is over saturated with over priced junk and horrible CS.

Store asst mgr refused to give Distr. Mgr. name (yet I got from another st. mgr luckily) Distr Mgr Beau also had attiude.

MK is over saturated with China made junk.

I once spent $120 on Coach purse in '96 & it came apart wi/1 yr. Opened my eyes!

A Michael Kors purse I bought in February broke on the strap right where there is *** to adjust the strap if needed. After spending several hours on the phone with customer service for several weeks, sending in invoices (proof of purchase), sending images of the bag, paying $10-$15 in shipping to send the bag back, they have concluded that I took scissors and cut the strap myself (because all those activities to simply get a repair or a replacement of the same bag was for fun). Customer service says I can’t talk to anyone because the decision is final since I “cut” the strap myself (which they actually told me was written on the ticket number evaluation) then they had me sitting on hold for 30+ minutes to try and talk to a manager before I finally gave up. Needless to say, I will NEVER be buying anything from Michael Kors again. Thanks Michael Kors for the experience and horrible customer service.

Extremely irritated at lack of explanation of return policy

I’m a long time Michael Kors customer, only very recently getting into the higher end designer bags once I got a career as an RN. It’s nice to reward myself once in a while and I choose to buy MK bags when I do. However after today’s experience or shall I say lack of explanation from the sales associate I will not be returning any business. In fact, immediately after this happened I went to Kate Spade and spent a substantial amount there instead. Anyways I went to the MK outlet which is about an hour and half away from my home town. I found a beautiful bag and wallet and was on my way. However, once I got home I began carrying around my new purse and wallet and found that the style of the purse was too bulky and the wallet was just too big for my liking. I removed the price tag from the purse because I was seeing how the new wallet fit inside the purse. After hours of debating, I decided that it wasn’t the right fit for me. The next day I drove back the hour and a half and went inside to return my items. The same sales associate was there from the other day. This is when my experience becomes absolutley infuriating. A different sales associate begins to examine my bag and wallet and begins to tell me she cannot accept the bag back because the tag is removed. Mind you, this bag never saw the outside sunlight or a drop of rain. It was out of my bag in my house for a few minutes, nothing even was put in the bag besides my brand new wallet. The other sales associate even remembered me because I was just there the day before. She said that their return policy states that, I pulled my receipt out and I could not find anywhere that it states they will not accept a bag back if the tag had been removed and the only refund you get is store credit! I spent two hours in that store the day before and I saved up money for this trip, there wasn’t anything else I wanted in the store; I would have bought it otherwise the day before! She then points to the three small fancy “boxes” in front of each register. She says that is our return policy there. At this point I’m complete dumbfounded because at no point ever the day before was I read a loud or even told about there strict return policy. Every store I’ve ever shopped-high end stores to department stores will always reiterate a return policy to the customer if it is even slightly a bit less conventional than the typical return policy a store carries. I am totally turned off by this brand now. I thought I was a loyal MK customer but after this customer service incident I’m done with Michael Kors. Instead of staying around to find a different wallet that I was planning on doing-after I was luckily able to return the one I bought-I walked out and took my business elsewhere. I’m so upset that this company has trained or not trained their employees in the education of the return policy. Not once was the return policy ever even mentioned or that their policy was “different”. Even an FYI from the associate to the customer regarding their return policies would have been appreciated and respected a lot more . You want your consumer to be happy with their purchase and now I’m left with a huge hole in my pocket and a purse that’s not practical for me and a purse that I will get no use out of. If I would have been informed of this policy, I would have still bought the bag, I just wouldn’t have so “carelessly” removed the tag. I only removed the tag because it was in the way of when I was trying to fit my new wallet into the bag. I generally do not write any sort of reviews, I only write them if I’m blown away by the excellent or terrible service that I experienced. I’m done with this brand and I’m done with this company. I also took this very personal as the associate did not seem to even care or value my business as a returning MK customer. It seems they may be losing some long time sincere customers with this issue of returns. It needs to be clearly explanined to them! This experience reminded me of a pharmaceutical drug advertisement and then not being able to read all the side effects because it’s in such small font at the bottom of the page. I hope fellow MK customers read this so they don’t have to experience what I went through today!

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm complaining about! I ordered off of their website and recently received not one but TWO used items that were dirty, stained, warped, and used....without the tags on or even proper packaging!

They won't let you return items if you remove the tag but they have the audacity to mail out this garbage knowing that it'll take 3 weeks to get a refund! Horrible and unacceptable!

Nope. I contacted MK about the receiving used items and all they said was return them for a refund.

So I contacted my bank and filed a complaint with the BBB. Michael Kors processed my refund over 2 weeks after the return was sent.

They didn't respond to my complaint here or the one filed with the BBB. They literally just don't care.

Low quality for high price products

I purchased two Michael Kors purses. One in October and one in November. In December, I purchased a wallet. Two months after I started using the wallet. I noticed the inside of the wallet was breaking and tearing apart.

Three months after I started using the purses, the stitching on the straps started to come undone.

The straps on the second purse stared to peel and also come undone. All this within six month of use and purchase. How disappointing. These purses and wallet are not cheap.

I called customer service and they suggested I sent the purses to get the straps fixed at my own expense.

DO NOT BUY MICHAEL KORS.

You are better off purchasing from a dollar store.

Lies and disappointment

Purchased merchandise mid January. Called Customer Service many times asking them to email a return label I could print.

Weeks and weeks. Calls and calls to many customer service associates and 2 supervisors. Their answer was they received merchandise used and worn. The tags and packaging were clearly visible.

I am now asked to send pics of merchandise as proof it has not been used/worn then email them to company. I have. THREE TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE. Horrendous treatment.

I feel they simply do not want to honor their return agreement.

I purchased 2 sweaters, one was refunded to, one dress a purse and a pair of boots. I have been a faithful and loyal customer for almost 2 decades. I have returned merchandise in the past with 50/50 results in customer service.

I have spent much money on this company’s merchandise. MK apparently does not appreciate the patronage!

I did not get cash when I returned the productThey issued me a gift cardBy saying they don’t have enough cash to refund in cash. I asked them for cheque refund but I was refused and was handed gift card which I cannot used in other stores except in MK stores....they basically kept my money...thief’s.

Same thing that had happened to me. My outlet store sucks especially and they are ruthless and mean.

I never shop that again and they lose my business. Should get rid of all the mean workers and replace with people who is friendly and better customers service.

No Shoes but master card debited

I placed an online order for two pairs of shoes on September 17, 2018 my bank authorized the payment September 18, 2018. Michael Kors did not send me the usual transaction confirmation which I found strange. I called their CS Department twice and am being told that they do not have any transaction details to account for that order. However, they have my money for the untraceable transaction. A total of two detailed emails were sent the transaction authorization code and online banking details issued to me by my bank to validate the purchase. To-date no response has been received from them. What is most annoying, is that neither CSRs indicated that they would check with their bank using the authorization code given to me by my bank to account for the transaction. Once they have not seen the transaction in the order history they have discounted the entire transaction. I made sure that I got as much information from my bank where possible to validate the purchase why can't they do the same. MK needs to improve on its customer aftercare service; especially when persons send emails and not even an acknowledgement of the said email is sent to the customer. How are we left to feel? They take our money but then what. After reading some many negative reviews I do not anticipate that my issue will be dealt with in a reasonable timeframe and I would have to spend weeks battling with them to return my money.

Im so didappionted i have the large selma. Waited for the right season. And got to use it for the first week and 2 of the gold studs fell off. I own alot of mk bags especially selma this never happened before. So bummed out its an eye sore. And i dont care for thr matelic bags they fade very easy had to get rid of a few. Other then that i love mk i dropped coach for mk. But this was a special bag and waited for my sons graduation which is june 5 and now my bag cant be uses

Purchased a Michael Kors metallic crossbody handbag September 21, 2017 and it is only June 2, 2018 and the bag is already ruined. There was a small sticky spot on it and I wipe it off with a couple drops of dish soap and a soft sponge and the purse was ruined. The gold has come off. The company refuses to replace it. The piste should have help up from dabbing it with water and a tiny amount of dish soap. Very disappointed. Will not by a Michael Kors item ever again.

Refund not issued after goods being returned back to the warehouse for more than 3 weeks. Not acceptable.

I returned 2 items that I bought on Michael Kors website using the return labels that they provided inside the box. USPS guy collected the packages, scanned them and off they went. It has been more than 3 weeks and I still have not received any refund in my account. I called MK customer service 5 times, they were unable to help me at all. All they said was just wait for the refund to be issued. Seriously, how much longer do I need to wait? Also they were unable to inform me the tracking label that they issued, saying that MK does not keep them in their system and its the customer's responsibility to keep the tracking number that they issued. No more shopping at Michael Kors, EVER!!! this is the first and last for me.
