Michael Kors - Their purse was poorly constructed and they’re blaming me for the result.
I have a huge issue with Michael Kors and want to pass it on to my friends. I purchased a very expensive purse for my daughter online at Christmas.
It came stuffed with a massive amount of paper to inflate the bag and make it look perfect. The bag is very tall but the bottom is narrow. Consequently the purse collapses and folds in half when you set it down. For that reason I sent it back.
I removed the paper stuffing, put the collapsed (folded) purse in a little smaller box and sent it back for a refund. They are claiming I caused structural damage by folding it. IT FOLDS BY ITSELF, THAT’S WHY I RETURNED IT. Had I bought the purse at a department store there would have been no issue with returning it.
The flaw is in the way the purse was constructed. I can only surmise that the flaw has cost them a lot of money in refunds and they’ve decided to blame the consumer. After all I can’t prove the condition of the purse when it arrived at my door. Therefore I can’t prove that I didn’t cause the damage.
FYI ~ I bought my daughter in law a Michael Kors purse at the same time. Hers is tall, but the bottom is wide so it doesn’t collapse. They know very well why the defective purse collapses.
Shame on Michael Kors!!!! NO MORE MICHAEL KORS FOR ME
